Love + Radio has been produced intermittently since 2005. In 2011, L+R became the first podcast to win the top prize at the Third Coast Festival Competition and began regular production in 2014 with the launch of Radiotopia.

There are times when you’re quite sure the story being heard is fiction, and you have to remind yourself that the narrative unfolding before your ears is true, or is it, or maybe the truth has been embellished. Props to Brendan Baker, director of sound/senior producer, for enhancing the emotionally raw stories that combine interview with storytelling – the result is a dreamy concoction of searing life experiences and lessons learned.
