State of the Human is a fascinating radio show and podcast that’s produced by the Stanford Storytelling Project and presents stories that deepen our understanding of single, common human experiences – belonging, giving, lying, forgiveness – all drawn from experiences and research of the Stanford community, and designed to showcase the transformative nature inherent in both traditional and modern oral storytelling.
Produced by undergraduate students, the stories incorporate a mix of memoir, interview, dramatic reading, sound design and much more. While this podcast may not be quite as polished as those produced by the industry veterans, the unique perspective offered by insightful students will have you questioning your own views on how life works.
